Production process for Gerbera

The cultivation process starts with potting out pot gerberas throughout the year. The plants are put into pot sizes 10 cm and 12 cm.

Pot gerberas are cultivated fully automatically and assessed by a camera system into 40 different gradings. Then the graded plants move to the packing stations for delivery according to the customers’ wishes in terms of size, number of flowers, mixed or all one colour.

Production process for Sundayz

The cultivation process/production process is almost identical to that for the pot gerberas. Sundayz are potted out from February to mid-August. The plants are put into pot size 12 cm. Sundayz is a double-bloomed pot gerbera. The plant is a bit more compact, has more muted colours, and is eminently suitable for the garden or patio.

The plants are supplied from mid-April through October, and then the process begins again in February.

Production process for Garvinea

The cultivation process starts with potting out Garvinea in December to end of April/beginning of May. The plants are put into pot size 17 cm. They are widely spaced, to give them the room they need to grow.

Garvineas are garden annuals and come in the colours yellow, red, pink, purple and orange. The plants are supplied from mid-April to the end of July, and then the process starts up again in January.

Production process for Helleborus

The cultivation process starts with potting out Helleborus in March. The plants are put into pot sizes 7 cm, 9 cm, 12 cm, 15 cm and 17 cm. In June they are spaced out.

Before delivery, they are sorted by size:  small, medium, large and extra-large. The plants are supplied from the start of September until mid-January, then potting out starts again in March.

Production process for Poinsettia

The cultivation process starts with potting out Poinsettia in August. The plants are put into pot size 12 cm. To get them ready for delivery, they are sorted by size, colour and stage of maturity. The colours red, white, pink and glitter are cultivated. The plants are supplied from mid-November until Christmas, and then potting out begins again in August.
